Dr. Brian L. Dockendorf is a board-certified general surgeon who has been serving patients at Highland Clinic since 1993. Licensed in both Louisiana and Texas, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has held leadership positions including Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Christus Hospital.

He treats both adult and pediatric patients, specializing in abdominal, colorectal, breast, endocrine, thoracic, and vascular conditions. Dr. Dockendorf performs many procedures using advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques and admits patients to Christus Highland and Willis Knighton Pierremont.

His areas of focus include carotid and peripheral vascular disease, thoracic and lung surgery, mastectomy for breast cancer, and gallbladder surgery. Originally from East Texas, Dr. Dockendorf is married with two sons.
