Dr. Blake N. Thornton began his practice at the Ear, Nose & Throat Center in July of 2015 and is proud to work alongside his father, Robert S. Thornton, M.D. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Thornton is married and the proud father of three daughters.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he studied from 2001 to 2005. He then completed his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, from 2005 to 2009.

Following medical school, Dr. Thornton began his postgraduate training with a general surgery internship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis from 2009 to 2010. He then completed a residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the same institution from 2010 to 2015.
